Limited visitation precautions at Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor - 09/03/2018

Due to cases of respiratory illness (Influenza-like illness) at Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor, immediate limited visitation precautions are in place.

To help reduce the spread of respiratory illness, only one visitor at a time is permitted for each patient/resident, and all visitors must be at least 14 years of age. These visitor precautions do not apply to people visiting palliative care patients/residents.

All visitors to Central Health facilities are reminded to wash their hands after arriving and before leaving the facility.

If you are experiencing any flu-like symptoms, please delay visiting any of our facilities until you're feeling better. All members of the public are encouraged to get their flu shot.

Central Health recognizes the importance of family and friend visits, and thanks you for your understanding and assistance in preventing the spread of this illness.

Updates on visitor precautions will be provided on Twitter (@CentralHealthNL).
