Obstetrical services at James Paton Memorial Regional Health Centre - 11/04/2017

 

Due to unforeseen circumstances, obstetrical services are currently unavailable at James Paton Memorial Regional Health Centre in Gander.

All obstetrical services, including perinatal clinics, will be diverted to Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor until further notice. This diversion is expected to last a minimum of four to six weeks.

If you are a perinatal clinic patient, you will be contacted to reschedule your appointments.

If you feel you may be in labour, and your intended place of delivery is James Paton Memorial Regional Health Centre, please proceed to the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor. If you feel that delivery may happen quickly, please go to your nearest Emergency Department for assessment.
