Respiratory Therapy

Respiratory Therapy is devoted to the scientific application of technology in order to assist the physician in the diagnosis, treatment, management, and care of patients with cardio-respiratory and other associated disorders.

Some of the services provided include:

  • Ventilation and airway management

  • Physiological monitoring for sleep apnea screening

  • Intubation

  • Arterial Line Insertion

  • Member of the trauma and cardiac arrest teams

  • Medical gas administration

  • Home care assessment and discharge planning

  • Patient assessment and consultation

  • Pulmonary Diagnostics

  • Asthma Education

 

Hours of Operation

CNRHC - 7:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. (weekdays) & 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (weekends)

JPMRHC - 7:30 a.m. -11:00 p.m. (weekdays) & 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (weekends)

 

Location

Grand Falls-Windsor - Located on the first floor in the Cardiopulmonary Services Area

Gander - Located on the second floor in the Respiratory Therapy Department
