Newfoundland Health Care
Central Health is introducing Doorways - a new single-session, walk-in mental health and addictions service in Gander and Grand Falls-Windsor.
Doorways offers single-session counselling services on a first-come, first served basis. There is no triage, no intake process, and no wait list. It's a same-day service for those who feel the need to speak to a clinician. Clients will meet with a mental health and addictions clinician for a single session (approximately 50 minutes) to address mental health and/or addictions issue like depression, anxiety, bullying, coping, grief/loss, addictions, relationships, and/or stress.
DoorWays will launch in Gander on January 25th and in Grand Falls-Windsor on January 30th.
