Limited visitor restrictions implemented at Central Health facilities

Central Health wishes to advise that there will be limited visitor restrictions of one designated visitor per patient/resident effective today due to the presence of COVID-19 cases/symptoms at the following sites:

  • Lakeside Homes

  • Carmelite House

  • Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre – Mental Health Unit 2E, Transitional Unit 2D and Medical Unit 3B

  • James Paton Memorial Regional Health Centre – Medical Unit and Women and Children’s Health Unit (a.k.a OBS) – Level 3

Full Visitor Restrictions

Full visitor restrictions are also implemented on Wing 2W at Lewisporte Health Centre/North Haven Manor effective today due to the presence of Norwalk-like Illness.No visitation is permitted at this time.

No other services are impacted at this time.

Palliative care visitations will be determined in collaboration with families and the care team.

Individuals requiring information about their loved ones should phone the appropriate unit.
