Central Health would like to advise the public that Nuclear Medicine services are temporarily unavailable at James Paton Memorial Regional Health Centre (JPMRHC), in Gander.
The temporary disruption of service is to accommodate ongoing renovations to the Radiology department. Renovations will take place over a six-week period.
During this time, nuclear medicine procedures will not be available at JPMRHC. In preparation of ongoing renovations to the Radiology department, there were no appointments booked for the anticipated renovation period. Urgent referrals will be booked at an alternate location – either Eastern Health or Western Health – and all other appointments will be booked when service delivery resumes in approximately six weeks.
Central Health apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and is making every effort to resume service as quickly as possible. Updates will be posted on Twitter and Facebook.
