Additional AstraZeneca/COVISHIELD Vaccination Clinics have been added for Residents 55 to 64

Central Health would like to advise that they will be holding vaccination clinics in Gander and Grand Falls-Windsor for residents 55-64 who have not yet booked an appointment to receive the AstraZeneca/COVISHIELD vaccine. Residents who live outside Gander and Grand Falls-Windsor can contact their public health nurse to arrange a vaccination appointment.


Clinics will take place in Gander on Thursday 29 April and Grand Falls-Windsor on Friday, April 30, 2021.


If you live in or around Gander or Grand Falls-Windsor, and are aged 55-64, you are eligible to attend. You do not need to preregister for these clinics, although you do need to book an appointment. To book an appointment for these clinics:


  1. Please click the following link, or copy and paste the link into the address bar of your internet browser: https://portal.healthmyself.net/nlcentralhealth/forms/1OK (Please ensure you use Google Chrome as your browser when accessing the link)

  2. Complete the eligibility questionnaire and consent.

  3. Please select AstraZeneca/COVISHIELD for Ages 55-64 (Covid dose 1).


Once again, residents aged 55-64 who live outside Gander and Grand Falls-Windsor can book their appointment by contacting their local public health nurse.


The public is reminded that they should not schedule an appointment for a vaccine if they are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. Instead, complete a COVID-19 Assessment and referral by clicking here.
