Central Health understands there are currently issues with some cell phone and internet services in the province.
We understand that people trying to call our facilities have experienced calls dropped, specifically the Health Hub in Gander. To support continued service at the Health Hub in Gander during this network outage, an alternate number has been activated. To reach the Health Hub in Gander please call 709-571-0118.
The Killick Clinic in Grand Falls-Windsor is unaffected by the outage and is still accessible at 709-292-8404.
At the moment, we encourage anyone trying to reach our facilities to use a landline or a network other than Rogers.
In the event of an emergency, people are encouraged to call 911 or present at their nearest emergency department.
