Central Health would like to advise that it is in the process of meeting with the communities impacted by physician shortages including Buchans, Connaigre Peninsula, Fogo, New Wes Valley and Baie Verte. Meetings with community stakeholders will be taking place this week. Central Health will also continue to engage with Community Advisory Committees (CACs) which are involved in recruitment efforts to help promote and highlight the resources within Central Health and the broader community for potential candidates and their families.
In the coming weeks, Central Health will be scheduling several virtual town halls to talk about virtual emergency rooms. More information will be available on the Central Health website, Twitter and Facebook pages.
