Central Health invites input into strategic planning with online survey and community engagement sessions

June 3, 2019

Every three years, Central Health reviews and updates its strategic plan outlining its vision, mission, values, and organizational priorities. Planning for the 2020-2023 Strategic Plan, a responsibility of the Central Health Board of Trustees, has begun.

An important part of the strategic, operational, and service planning to meet the health needs of the people it serves is understanding the current health status and health needs of the individuals and communities Central Health serves.

From June to September, Central Health will be hosting community engagement sessions across the region as part of its Community Health Assessment. Locations, dates, and times are posted on www.centralhealth.nl.ca Later this fall, additional community engagement sessions on identified strategic priorities will take place.

An online survey is also available. The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete, and all responses are anonymous.

Central Health’s Strategic Plan 2020-2023 is expected to be released in spring 2020, and will focus and direct the organization’s work.
