Due to a temporary physician shortage at the Green Bay Health Centre in Springdale, Emergency services will be diverted to Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre (CNRHC) in Grand Falls-Windsor from 12:00 am to 8:00 am on Friday, November 5, 2021.
The service diversion is due to a current unavailability of physician services.
If residents require emergency services during this time, they are advised to call 911 or proceed to the emergency room at CNRHC in Grand Falls-Windsor, where they will be seen.
Central Health continues its efforts in recruitment for this area for both physicians and non-physician healthcare workers. Central Health has been engaging physicians directly about potential opportunities and is working with a recruitment firm to assist in its search for physicians.
