Due to an internal water leak at the Lewisporte Health Centre, lab and x-ray services are temporarily unavailable. All visitors to the health facility are asked to use the entrance adjacent to the after-hours clinic during this service disruption. The facility’s main entrance has been locked for safety reasons until the extent of the water leak has been determined.
Facilities management is currently assessing the damage. An update will be provided as soon as a repairs schedule is available.
If you have urgent (stat) lab or x-ray needs, please go to James Paton Memorial Regional Health Centre in Gander or Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor. If your lab or x-ray needs are not urgent, please delay your lab or x-rays testing until services resume at the Lewisporte Health Centre.
