Central Health wishes to advise that limited visitor restrictions of one designated visitor per patient/resident are now in place on the Medical Unit at the James Paton Memorial Regional Health Centre in Gander due to the presence of COVID-19 in the facility.
Palliative care visitations will be determined in collaboration with the patient, family and care team. Individuals requiring information about their loved ones should phone the appropriate nursing unit.
Emergency department services and scheduled outpatient appointments are not affected.
Central Health would like to thank the public for their understanding and co-operation at this time.
