Statement from Andrée Robichaud, Central Health President & CEO

March 31, 2023

Dear colleagues,

It is time for me to say goodbye. Thank you all for the wonderful experiences you have given me at Central Health. Saying goodbye has never been an easy task for me and it is especially the case this time around. The memories we created are very special and I will cherish them as I move to another phase of my life. As I leave my President and CEO position, I do want to share some thoughts with you.

I have been immensely impressed with our employees. Although the last few years have been difficult for all of us with the pandemic, cyberattack and fire, I would not have wanted to be anywhere else to face these challenges. The employees of Central Health have kept rising to the new challenges. You have demonstrated time and again how committed you are to the highest quality of patient care. I am extremely proud to have lead such a talented team and I hope you continue on your patient and family centred care journey.

I wish you all the very best. I want to thank the Board of Directors for their support and unwavering vision of improving our quality patient care for the residents of Central Health. The community has been very lucky to have such dedicated Trustees who care deeply about the health and wellbeing of their community.

I want to thank the Senior Leadership Team for your support and dedication to creating an environment where we can provide the best patient care. I have been blessed to be part of such a team.

To the medical staff, you have demonstrated great foresight and attentiveness to the needs of our patients. Thank you for supporting me during my tenure, especially in moments when it was not always easy.

Finally, I want to thank our volunteers for their time and much-needed assistance, I don’t know what we would do without you.

Thank you, thank you, thank you….

I wish you success with the new PHA and from the bottom of my heart, thank you for all you have taught me.

Andrée
