Due to a temporary staffing resource challenge at Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre in Baie Verte, Emergency Services will be diverted to Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre (CNRHC) in Grand Falls-Windsor on:
Thursday, February 24 from 8:00 am to 8:00 am Friday, February 25
If residents require emergency services during this time, they are advised to call 911 or proceed to the nearest emergency room at CNRHC in Grand Falls-Windsor where they will be seen.
Central Health continues its efforts in recruitment for this area for both physicians and non-physician healthcare workers. Central Health has been engaging physicians directly about potential opportunities and is working with a recruitment firm to assist in its search for physicians.
We apologize for this interruption of service and thank the public for their understanding and patience as we continue to focus on providing safe and quality care for the residents of the Baie Verte.
