Central Health would like to advise that a temporary mobile COVID-19 testing clinic will be set up in Harbour Breton today (December 7, 2020).
This is not a walk-in service and those who require testing will be contacted by Public Health to set up an appointment.
Please note that full visitor restrictions will remain in place at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Centre due to a number of new cases of COVID-19 identified in the Central Health region over the weekend. These visitor restrictions will be in place until applicable designated visitors and applicable residents/patients/clients have been screened and been tested as appropriate. This is anticipated to be a short-term measure until the investigation is completed in the coming days. If you are symptomatic or have been in contact with someone who has been travelling outside the province, please call 811 for further guidance. Central Health would like to thank the public for their understanding and co-operation at this time.
