Central Health would like to advise the public of upcoming COVID-19 vaccination clinics in the Coast of Bays area. These clinics are open to individuals seeking their first, second or booster dose and have not booked a vaccination appointment. This clinic is for individuals 18 and older.
Individuals who had Moderna, Pfizer, or AZ as a first dose can avail of walk-in vaccinations providing that their first dose was given at least 28 days prior.
The COVID-19 vaccination clinics will take place at:

Eligibility:
Must not have symptoms
Eligible for first, second, or booster dose (last dose was 22 weeks ago) – received their last dose on, or before, August 16th, 2021.
Please bring your MCP Card with you. It is also advised you wear a mask and short sleeves.
The National Advisory Committee on Immunization (NACI) recommends those aged 18 to 29 years receive the Pfizer vaccine over Moderna, as a booster.
COVID-19 booster doses of the Moderna Vaccine are available for all individuals ages 30 years and older when at least 22 weeks has passed since completion of their primary series. As an example, if you received your second dose on August 16th, 2021, you can book your booster dose on or after January 15th, 2022.
You should not take part in a walk-in clinic or schedule an appointment for a vaccine if you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. Instead, complete a COVID-19 Assessment and referral by clicking here.
While waiting for your opportunity for vaccination, and after vaccination, it is important for everyone to continue to follow public health guidance to protect yourself, your loved ones, and your communities including:
Wearing a mask in public
Washing your hands frequently
Respecting public health guidance on gatherings, travel and quarantine
Completing the online self-assessment at https://www.811healthline.ca/ or calling 811 if you are experiencing one or more symptoms of COVID-19 to arrange testing.
