Central Health wishes to advise that full visitor restrictions recently put in place in the long-term care units at Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Centre have been lifted.
Effective immediately and until further notice, Central Health will have limited visitor restrictions in place which will allow 1 essential designated visitor per resident/patient. Visitor screening is still in place.
Palliative care visitations will be determined on an individual basis.
Individuals requiring information about their loved ones should phone the appropriate nursing unit.
Emergency department services and scheduled outpatient appointments at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Centre are not impacted.
Central Health would like to thank the public for their understanding and co-operation at this time.
