Central Health would like to advise residents of Twillingate and surrounding areas that due to lack of technician support, x-ray services are temporarily unavailable at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre in Twillingate. For the remainder of the day, X-ray will be re-directed to James Paton Memorial Regional Health Centre in Gander. X-ray services will resume in Twillingate at 8:00am tomorrow, October 21, 2021.
Clients with appointments have been contacted. In the meantime, patients needing urgent or emergent testing will be re-directed to James Paton Memorial Regional Health Centre in Gander.
There is no impact on emergency care at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre in Twillingate. If you are need of emergency services, please call 911 or proceed to your nearest emergency room.
Central Health apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and hope to have the service issue resolved soon. Thank you for your patience and cooperation at this time.
