Central Health is currently experiencing a temporary human resource challenge at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre (BVPHC) in Baie Verte. Residents requiring emergency services during this this time are advised to call 911 or proceed to the nearest emergency room at Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor, where they will be seen.
A diversion of emergency services will take place on:
Tuesday, April 12 at 8:00 pm to Wednesday, April 13 at 8:00 am (12 hours)
Residents requiring emergency services during this time are advised to call 911 or proceed to the nearest emergency room where they will be seen. Individuals presenting to BVPHC may be assessed through a virtual emergency room service. There will be a healthcare provider available to support patient care on-site, as determined through the initial virtual ER assessment.

On-site emergency services will be supported through Virtual ER assessment on the following date and time:
Wednesday, April 13 at 8:00 am to Thursday, April 14 at 8:00 am (24 hours)
