Central Health is currently experiencing a temporary human resource challenge at Connaigre Peninsula Health Centre in Harbour Breton. Residents requiring emergency services during this this time are advised to call 911 or proceed to the nearest emergency room at Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor, where they will be seen.
The diversion of emergency services will take place on:
Wednesday, April 6, 2022 from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm
VIRTUAL ER
On-site emergency services will be supported through Virtual ER assessment on the following date and times:
Wednesday, April 6, 2022 from 8:00 pm to 8:00 am Thursday, April 7, 2022

Central Health continues its efforts in recruitment for this area for both physicians and non-physician healthcare workers. Central Health has been engaging physicians directly about potential opportunities and is working with a recruitment firm to assist in its search for physicians.
