In moving forward with the Level 2 resumption of services, Central Health will be resuming its pre-COVID-19 referral processes for all Cardiopulmonary Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services.
While routine services will be resuming, please be advised Central Health will not be offering walk-in electrocardiogram (EKG) service. All outpatient EKGs will require an appointment requisitioned by a physician.
Patients who have an EKG requisition from before March 16, 2020 are asked to call James Paton Memorial Regional Health Centre, in Gander, at (709) 256-5600 or Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, in Grand Falls-Windsor, at (709) 292-2373 to schedule an appointment.
