Central Health would like to inform the public that due to the shortage of human resources to assist with obstetrical cases, obstetrical services at Central Health will remain at Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre (CNRHC), in Grand Falls-Windsor until the end of March 2023.
Midwifery care provision will be limited to prenatal and postnatal care for the interim, due to lack of resources.
If delivery is imminent, pregnant women in labour should proceed to the nearest emergency centre for assessment.
