Central Health would like to advise residents of Buchans and the surrounding area that x-ray services are temporarily unavailable at the A.M. Guy Memorial Health Centre in Buchans.
The temporary disruption of service is to accommodate the unscheduled maintenance of equipment, with a return to service anticipated for next week.
Clients with appointments have been contacted and patients requiring urgent or emergent testing will be re-directed to the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, in Grand Falls-Windsor.
There is no impact on emergency care at the A. M. Guy Memorial Health Centre, in Buchans. Those requiring emergency services are asked to call 911 or proceed to your nearest emergency room.
Central Health apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and hope to have the service issue resolved soon. Thank you for your patience and cooperation at this time.
