Regional Pharmacy Services

The main purpose of Regional Pharmacy Services is to:

• provide services that foster the efficacy, safety and cost-effectiveness of drug use;

• contribute to programs and services that emphasize the health needs of the public and the prevention of disease; and,

• promote pharmacy as an essential component of the health-care system.

Regional Pharmacy Services provide comprehensive Pharmacy Programs and Services to all clients and health care professionals through medication order review, patient counseling, patient round participation, drug utilization evaluation and pharmacotherapy monitoring. It's goal is to ensure the safe receipt, storage, distribution and administration of drugs within the limits of the drug formulary.
