Welcome to the Provincial Health Supply Chain Shared Services Department’s sourcing website!
Under the new shared services model, Central Health is the lead in order to provide a provincial service for supply chain on behalf of the other Regional Health Authorities (RHAs) and the Newfoundland and Labrador Centre for Health Information (NLCHI). In accordance with the Public Procurement Act (PPA), Delegations of Purchasing Authorities have been signed and all commodities being sourced and undergoing contract: creation, renewal, extension, or termination has been delegated to Central Health's Provincial Health Shared Services Supply Chain Department. They will source on behalf of the four other Health Organizations for all commodities.
The commodities will continue to be ordered by the Health Organizations under the contract terms established. All provincial open call activities for the four RHAs and NLCHI will be consolidated under this website.

Instructions for Open Calls Posted on or before January 6, 2021:
All responses with regard to open calls must be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org noting that:
The onus is on potential bidders to check the website for changes and addendums.
No hard copy submissions will be accepted, unless otherwise noted. Phone calls, texting, etc. will not be accepted.
For documentation and transparency reasons, all correspondence will occur via email to email@example.com. All emails must include the open call number followed by the document name in the subject line of the email. Emails not containing this required information in the subject line will not be responded to.
All questions about an open call must be received by the due date noted within each specific open call. Any communication or questions concerning an open call that is received in this period will not be replied to.
Any communication or questions between open call close date and time and the awarding of the contract will not be replied to.
It is the bidders’ sole responsibility to ensure their response(s) is/are received when, where and how it is specified in the open call document.
All submissions / responses to open calls will need to be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org and include the following in the subject line:
the open call # number;
name of the open call; and
the Amendment # (if applicable).
For example: 2019-XXXX – “open call name” – AMENDMENT #1
Shared Service Supply Chain will be the only official source of information regarding an open call, and information from any other source shall be considered unofficial and may not be correct. Information, offers or commitments from any other source shall not be binding on Central Health or the other four Health Organizations for which it serves.
All public bid openings will be conducted via conference call. Conference call information will be located in Open Call document.
The successful bidders will be listed on the website when awarded.
